The Environmental Defense Fund online art exhibit, June 2021 Selected works from artists that express how we imagine the world with 100% clean energy by 2050.  

This is a 60" x 60" quilt made of hand dyed cotton and stitched through the layers, one in a series of pieces called The Contact. A natural basin filled with seasonal runoff water, later it was cleared and ditched to use for drinking water and irrigation and fishing.Still later, it was abandoned and left to fill in with sediment, plants and animal life adjusting accordingly, a lake has gradually become land. Now it is protected in order that the process can continue as naturally as possible.
