I am very pleased that my piece, Seafoam was chosen for this exhibit. It is part of a nationwide Semiquincentennial initiative honoring the enduring value of the handmade in both history and contemporary life. NWDC’s exhibitions will showcase the creativity of Northwest artists working in clay, wood, glass, metal, fiber, and mixed media. The series opens March 31st at Allied Arts Gallery at the Park in Richland, WA.

When white foam piles up on the sand, I love looking at the shapes and flowing figures it can make.
Hand printed dye on cotton sateen, machine stitched, stretched and framed with a hanging wire.
